- P. Randall Bentley
P. Randall Bentley CCIM, SIORPrincipal & Broker in ChargeRandall began his career in 1973 after graduating from the University of South Carolina. He was a broker with Henson Real Estate and quickly moved into ownership of his own company, Century 21 Bentley and Case. After ten years with Bentley and Case, Randall joined with The Furman Company and specialized in industrial properties. While there, he was named top producer of the year four times, as well as Vice President of the Industrial Division. Randall left to become a partner at NAI Earle Furman, and served as Chief Operating Officer for five years. Randall left NAI Earle Furman to start Bentley Commercial. He has served as Chairman of the Greenville County Planning Commission and as President of the South Carolina Chapter of NAIOP.
- Kevin P. Bentley
Kevin P. BentleyPrincipal & BrokerA graduate of Newberry College, Kevin owned and operated a Radio Shack dealership for ten years. Later, he joined Wholesale Industrial Electronics and ADT, where he was a top producer. Kevin then specialized in industrial sales and leasing at NAI Earle Furman. Kevin left to start Bentley Commercial with his brother, Randall.

Rand Bentley, Jr.Principal & BrokerAfter attending Greenville Technical College, Rand joined his father at The Furman Company first, then NAI Earle Furman. Rand’s specialty is retail and investment properties.
- Laurens C. Nicholson
Laurens C. Nicholson CCIM, SIORPrincipal & BrokerLaurens C. Nicholson, CCIM, SIOR joins Bentley Commercial as a principal and broker. Laurens has been working in commercial investment real estate since 1993. He specializes in investment real estate with an emphasis in the industrial and office sectors.
Laurens serves on the faculty of the CCIM Institute where he is an instructor teaching courses on Financial Analysis for commercial investment real estate. He also serves as a board member of the South Carolina CCIM Chapter. Effective January 2008, Laurens will serve on the board of the Carolinas Chapter for SIOR. Laurens also serves on the Commercial Steering Committee for the Greater Greenville Association of REALTORS®.
- Richard Barrett
Richard BarrettBrokerA native of Atlanta, Georgia, Richard graduated from the University of Georgia in 1975, with a major in Journalism and a minor in Business. He furthered his education by achieving an MBA in general business from the University of Hartford in 1991. Employed by Hubbell Incorporated for 30 years, Richard was in a series of positions of growing responsibility, including the last 15 years as the Vice President of Sales for Hubbell Lighting. Relocating to Greenville in 2002, throughout his career he was actively involved in the Industrial/MRO, as well as the Construction aspects of the Hubbell Lighting business. Additionally, Richard participated in the wholesale distribution channel throughout his career. Taking early retirement in 2008, he brings this knowledge base and broad experience to Bentley Commercial LLC where he is working as a Commercial Broker.- Tim Bright
Tim BrightBrokerTim was born and raised in Greenville. He graduated in 2005 from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Sport and Entertainment Management. While he attended USC, Tim was a member of the Gamecock Baseball Team and a part of Team Gamecocks where he joined other student athletes in mentoring elementary school students.
After graduation he coached baseball both at Spartanburg High School and for the Columbia Blowfish. His last year before joining Bentley Commercial he was an assistant baseball coach at Furman University.
- Brent Freeman
Brent Freeman CCIMBrokerMr. Freeman has worked in the real estate industry since 1984 and specializes in the sale and leasing of office properties and investment real estate. His experience in the real estate industry includes six (6) years with a regional real estate developer, three (3) years as a commercial real estate lender with a super regional bank, six (6) years as owner of a real estate brokerage company and eight (8) years experience as a commercial real estate broker. This diverse real estate background gives him experience and expertise in feasibility analysis, market analysis, lease negotiations, lease preparation and review, tenant relations, corporate realty services, consulting brokerage, lease administration and the development of new projects.
- Deanna Hemberger
Deanna HembergerBrokerDeanna is a graduate of Clemson University with a degree in Architectural Design. She received her Master’s Degree in City and Regional Planning from Clemson in 1992.
Previously, Deanna worked for the Greenville County Planning Commission for the City of Greenville as a Planner. Deanna’s most recent position was Vice President and Director of Operations for Siegi, Inc. Textile Services & Consulting.
Deanna currently serves on the Palmetto Bank Greenville Advisory Board, as Chair on the Soteria Community Development Corporation and on the Clemson University Advancement Foundation Board.
- Andrew Mitchell
Andrew MitchellAgentBorn and raised in Greenville, Andy has enjoyed watching the Upstate grow over the years and is eager to put his first-hand knowledge of the area to work in the commercial real estate business. Andy is a 2004 graduate of The College of Charleston where he earned a B.S. in Business Administration in addition to his studies in Historic Preservation and Community Planning. Upon graduation, he attended Clemson University where he completed the Post-Baccalaureate Architecture Program. Andy joined Bentley Commercial, LLC in 2006 as a commercial real estate broker and is currently in the process of earning the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation.

- Connie Gonzalez
Connie GonzalezProperty Management AssistantConnie Gonzalez has been part of the Property Management team for two years and her administrative skills have been a vital asset to the team. In her current role as Property Management Assistant, she inputs pertinent lease information, tracks lease expirations and notice dates, notifies tenants of rent increases and hold over, follows up on certificates of insurance for tenants and vendors, and other lease-related items. Other duties include receiving and posting rent payments, running delinquent reports and posting late fees, paying invoices and handling letters of correspondence.
Connie is generally the first point of contact for work-order related issues from tenants and initiates the internal process by communicating with both the facilities technician and vendors. She assists the Property Manager in other property management responsibilities as needed.
She graduated with a BS degree in Elementary Education from Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC. Though she enjoyed teaching, she has worked in various administrative roles for over ten years at MetLife Insurance Company, and now brings this experience to the Bentley team.

Linda Wheeler CPMDirect of Property ManagementLinda joins Bentley Property Services as Director of Property Management. In 1986, Linda achieved the Certified Property Manager designation from IREM and has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Stetson University in DeLand, Florida. Her property management career spans almost twenty years with experience in managing all types of commercial real estate including office, retail and industrial.

Teresa BuffkinReception/Broker AssistantTeresa Buffkin is currently the Receptionist/Broker Assistant for Bentley Commercial, LLC and is responsible for assisting with various administrative services to the brokers, receiving visitors and managing the switchboard.
Teresa attended ECPI and brings 11 years of office administrative experience to the Bentley team.

Marty FloraPrincipalMarty has worked in commercial real estate for more than a decade, bringing her business administration and marketing communications expertise to bear, aligning great brokers with great clients. Most recently with NAI Earle Furman, Marty left to join long-time associate Randall Bentley as a principal in the creation of Bentley Commercial.
- Chalet Miley
Chalet MileyDirector of OperationsChalet Miley is currently the Director of Operations for Bentley Commercial LLC and is responsible for organizing, planning and directing all of the operational functions associated within the company. Chalet plays a key role in assuring timely, accurate, efficient work flow as well as handling Human Resource functions for the company. In addition to overseeing the operations, Chalet will also serve as the Lease Administrator, in which she will be preparing, updating, and maintaining all aspects of the leases and contracts for the company.
Chalet comes to us with a background in Healthcare Management. She began her career as an Application Instructor for a large healthcare network in Virginia, offering billing and software training along with her teammates to 1000+ employees. After relocating to the Upstate, she served as the Director of Asset Management Programs for Universal Hospital Services, Inc., one of the countries leading medical equipment outsourcing companies. Chalet was responsible for overseeing the daily operations of multiple programs based inside various hospitals throughout the South East region. Some responsibilities included managing a staff of 50+ managers and representatives, ensuring that all company, hospital, OSHA, DEHC and JCAHO policies and procedures were being followed, coordinating equipment deliveries within the facilities, verifying proper functionality of equipment with the biomedical teams and conducting quarterly program performance presentations to hospital administration.
Chalet’s well versed management background is a valuable asset to the daily functions of the Bentley Commercial team.
- Sharon Thornsbury
Sharon ThornsburyChief Financial OfficerSharon Thornsbury is currently the Chief Financial Officer for Bentley Property Services, LLC and Bentley Commercial, LLC. She earned her Associate of Arts degree in Accounting at Broward Community College and then continued her education at Florida State University. She completed and earned her BS degree in Accounting at the University of South Carolina in 2006. Sharon has held a management position in the Accounting/Finance field for over twenty years, and has focused on the real estate industry during the last ten years. She joined the staff at Bentley Commercial to manage the Accounting department for both the Property Management and Commercial Real Estate Divisions.
